Mitchum - Science : Mitchum - 7th Science
Recent ActivitySeventh grade science will enhance and develop basic skills in reasoning, research, and critical thinking skills. Students will be given opportunities for group interaction and independent study. Learning experiences will focus on increasing knowledge of science concepts and application of science in a “real world” environment. This course will integrate life, physical, earth science, and the arts with an emphasis on application of science concepts to everyday life and the future.
Section Announcements Cells TestThe "Cells" test has been moved to Wednesday, February 10, 2010. Students need to study notes on "Cells, Cell Processes and Bacteria/Protist/Viruses." Students can use worksheets that have been returned to them to assist them in studying for their test, also.

Students will take notes on Monday and Wednesday. They should be studying their notes each night for at least fifteen minutes.
September 8 - 11Students will complete lab reports from the previous week. Also, Thursday, September 10, we will begin discussing atoms, elements, mixtures and compounds.
